Jana Riedel is a Digital Artist who has worked on a wide range of projects in digital media, including digital video, interactive CD-ROMs, dance performances, interactive installations, mediated performances, live orchestrated film screenings and 3D animation.

Currently, she works for the SMARTlab Centre, part of Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. The centre is an award winning research lab undertaking work in Site Specific Media, Performing and Digital Arts.

As SMARTlab’s Content Manager, she assists the lab in its research, which is primarily concerned with connecting people using art & technology in the service of real social needs. Jana has been actively involved in taking technology applications to artists and students and has helped them to integrate those technologies into their working practice.

Jana holds a BA in Digital Arts, having specialised in Video Production.
