Tony K.Y. Chan is concurrently Associate Professor in the Division of Computing Systems, School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University and Director of the gameLAB.
He received the B.E. (Hon.) and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 1966 and 1972 respectively. Since 1970 he has held various technical and senior management positions in Singapore's electronics and computer industries. In 1990 he joined the Nanyang Technological University as senior lecturer. His teaching and research are in the areas of electronics, computer graphics, visualisation, multimedia, games and Internet-based applications.
